Hitting & Infield CampsNorthwest Baseball Academy is a not-for-profit educational corporation under IRS code 501(c)(3). Established in 1996, the Academy provides northwest youth with a positive environment for personal development in the area of athletics. The programs build self-esteem by teaching participants skills such as goal setting and attainment, self-discipline, teamwork and proper physical conditioning. The programs focus on communication, professional conduct, self-motivation and awareness as well as a players ability to accept responsibility for their own decisions. With 14 years of running youth camps, our coaching staff has the knowledge and experience to recognize the strengths and weaknesses of an individual player and how develop each player to meet their fullest potential in a team setting. Hitting and infield camps focus on the many aspects of hitting and infield. These camps are similar to the comprehensive camps offered in the summer, however due to time constraints, pitching is not covered. Many aspects of the game are taught in a systematic, week-long program. Hitting, fielding, throwing, simulated game play, speed training, and conditioning are the core fundamentals. Players are taught the most up-to-date techniques to achieve a higher batting average with more power potential
All Camps are run by Mark Potoshnik, Director of the Academy. |
